“Yes. No. Goodbye.”

In 2007 Robert Murch, paranormal enthusiast and ouija board nut, set out to see if he could find the illusive unmarked grave of Elijah Bond, creator of the modern Ouija Board. On May 28th,1890, Bond trademarked the first commercially sold spirit board long before it was even called a Ouija Board. The Nirvana Board was a hit, and captured the imagination of a general public who were fascinated with the idea that Bond's simple device could mystically connect them to the spirit realm. Bond's nameless gravesite went unmarked until (after a 15 year search) Robert Murch found his remains at the Green Mount Cemetery in Baltimore Maryland. Finally Bond was able to get the acclaim he deserved for divining one of the general public's most iconic "toys". Funds were pooled by spirit board lovers and volunteers from around the world in order to create a proper memorial for Elijah Bond, one in the style of his beloved Ouija board. Today, Bond's Ouija Board gravestone has become a favorite destination for many with an interest in the occult and paranormal. Now the real question is, does the gravestone board actually work? Visit it yourself and find out... -Roadtrippers The man who first patented the Ouija Board rests in peace beneath a headstone that playfully reflects that achievement. The Ouija styled headstone was added to Elijah Bond's grave thanks to the Talking Board Historical Society.  The concept of a Ouija Board is fairly simple - ask questions into particularly haunted air, then wait to see which letters on a board your involuntary motions end up pointing to for the answer. The creepy notion of not being fully aware of where your own hands are going to point, nor why, has fascinated paranormal enthusiasts and psychologists alike for years, and it's all thanks to one man: Elijah Bond. Hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (Subject to change)

Very cool. And totally free, which is nice. The cemetery is HUGE and also has several other famous graves including John Wilkes Booth.

You've got to really look for it and you can totally miss it if you don't know where you're going! It's awesome though, and the rest of the cemetery is pretty great too so make sure you explore!

If you're into anything creepy, macabre or weird, you have to stop by. The rest of the cemetery is beautiful. The neighborhood is kind of ghetto. It reminds me of the cemetery in the movie the Warriors.
