Mount Desert Oceanarium

Over the past four decades, Audrey and David Mills have devoted themselves to the development of an ever-improving facility.  Thanks to their ceaseless efforts, the Oceanarium is a fascinating place to visit, providing both education and entertainment.   New last year was the Maine Lobster Fishing Program. The Maine Lobster Hatchery and the Thomas Bay Salt Marsh Tour remain as highly popular favorites. The Discovery Pool Touch Tank is good as ever. The staff here is  engaging, knowledgeable, and very personable. Come! See for yourself!  David says he takes special pleasure from hearing visitors say how much they enjoyed learning from the Oceanarium staff and exhibits. The Oceanarium remains a premier MDI attraction.
