Ratings Summary
We've gone there for day trips with our small children and a recreational kayak; it was wonderful. It's a perfect camping place for families with small children, although they must be 5 to swim (lake is spring-fed and don't want bacteria introduced), There is a lovely loop trail that goes around the lake, and some of the camp sites are located above this, making for a beautiful and quiet place to escape. There are campfires as well as grilles, and a large playground. This a special place!
