“Experience a bit of the Wild West”
Benson is the gateway to Tombstone, Bisbee, Kartchner Caverns, and Chiricahua National Monument. Apache Chief Cochise's stronghold is nearby. Tombstone hosts daily re-creations of the infamous O.K. Corral shoot-out. Tour an old copper mine near the Mexican border in Bisbee, where steep hillside streets and Victorian buildings evoke the mining boom days. Tour Kartchner Caverns and drive or hike past weirdly shaped rock formations in the Chiricahua Mountains.

They check in instructions weren’t anywhere, but the manager saw me wandering around and came out to give me instructions.

We reserved a pull through spot for 2 nights recently to be close to the route of the 4014 steam locomotive touring the southwest. Decided on this KOA because it had a playground and pool for our 2 year old grandaughter. Well the section with the pull throughs and playground was closed as they were doing some kind of utility work. So they put me in a back in spot that was nearly impossible to get into. The host parking his golf cart in the road didn't make things any easier. They direct me to another spot and even though 2 grown men were behind me I ended up backing over a barrell cactus and destroying one of my levelling jacks, not a peep from either of them. the back section has all of the long term people so I felt like I was camping in someones side yard, not a top notch national camping chain. Weekend was uneventfull, no Hot Tub, No Swimming Pool, no Playground and when we started to clean up on Sunday to head back home, NO WATER!. Maybe when the renovations are done it will be a nice place, but you won't see me there again! And the coarse gravel pads destroyed my leveling blocks, and you need them in the back as nothing is level.

I arrived after the office closed, but the friendly staff helped me to my site. I thought this place was overpriced, as there was no pool. A dog barked NONSTOP every night for over an hour! Completely spoiled the stay. I think it may have been a resident's dog, as it was in the fence yard of the on sight house

It seems from other reviews that the pool continues to be an on going ( for years) project. I was told permits have been applied for. Nice shower and restrooms. Dog park is a nice thing. There are a few cabins for rent. The space is basically a big open lot with sites and hookups. Behind the office there are lovely shade trees and i guess staff sites. Those might be worth the price. Starlink internet. Next time I would check with the other 3 rv parks on the same road to see if better price. Water hook up is super low to the ground and made for a challenge getting regulator and filter on.

Not as described when we arrived the pool was not available there was trash everywhere and it's also really far from any attractions I would not recommend this one we got our money back and stayed at the trail riders inn right in tombstone for ten dollars more a night.
