What a wonderful place to visit. How unique and fascinating. We generally spend hours here, and have since signed up for family passes. We especially love going in the evening when they do astronomy events as well. The rates are reasonable considering this is a piece of history and it makes for a very inexpensive day.
The kids now have museum quality fossils for school projects, the coolest pieces to incorporate into their crafts and only a little bit of sunburn! (Bad mom! Forgot to reapply the sunscreen we were having so much fun!)
Might be a cool site but when they charge $9/adult and $7/child a family of 5 is quickly discouraged from fossil hunting on their trip home. Our kids were very disappointed but we were unwilling to pay $39 for a 1/2
hour of fossil hunting. We were the only people there, they should charge a more reasonable rate!
