“A mom & pop pho shop”
If you're familiar with Pho, then you know the drill. The Sriracha, Hoisin and Fish Sauces are just as key as the broth itself. But the made-from-scratch broth is where Pho Bac shines. The beef broth takes all night to make, and the process used to extract flavor from the beef bones is something that the owners have been perfecting for some time. The aroma of star anise, cloves and cardamom intertwine, and once you've ripped and tossed your basil leaves into the mix, you're transported to another world. This mom and pop shop is the real deal. After several visits, Ann and her husband will begin to feel like family. Family can be awkward, and this one is no exception.
