We give credit to be used on used books ONLY. The store credit is calculated by giving the customer a third of the value of the books. After appraisal, we will confirm your store credit with you and give you the credit slip. The credit slip is the only record of the appraisal and is the customer's responsibility to keep.  **If you have more than fifteen books, please call 828-264-4636 to set up an appointment with Karen or Mary.  We do not take: heavily used books, Reader's Digest books, and magazines. Textbooks are accepted at our discretion. We will return to you any book we do not accept and are under no obligation to take all of your books. If you prefer not to take them back, they will be donated or recycled--depending upon condition.
