“Where the Burners are Always on!”
Quite literally the heart that keeps Kenmore Square pumping, Eastern Standard's lively mix of locals and out-of-towners assures a vibrant scene nearly 24 hours a day, 7 days a week... We are a neighborhood restaurant. We may sound like a lively dinner party, look like a French Brasserice and feed you before a Sox game but at the end we just want you to feel at home no matter which suburb, city or country you may reside. We were inspired to create Eastern Standard at a time when conversation was king and 140 characters was just a starting point. We want you to understand our menus and get to know our staff. There is no room on our tables for pretense and no place in our kitchens for shortcuts. So dive into our dishes and drinks, they all have a great story to tell.
Their cocktails are inspired and delicious and, as a bonus, the bartenders don't come off as pretentious assholes.
It's incredible that a restaurant so large can have such consistently executed cocktails, but this bustling Kenmore Square brasserie proves it with perfect renditions of classic whiskey smashes and beloved originals like The Lonsdale (infused honey-apple bourbon, housemade rose vermouth and amaro).
