“Spite House”
There are plenty of myths that surround Boston’s skinniest spite house, and according to the legend the house was built shortly after the Civil War. Both sons were in the military, and when one returned home to find that his brother had taken most of the land he built a small house on the property to spite his family member. Another myth says the narrow house was built to shut out air and light from part of his hostile neighbor’s house.
Indeed, it's skinny.
Right across the way from the cemetery. Cool little spot.
Such a fun photo opportunity. What you see is definitely what you get, but it's a close walk from the center of action.
