“an oasis for nature-lovers”
We are a family-friendly campground nestled at the base of Willard Peak and framed by the shimmering waters of the Great Salt Lake with fruit orchards all around. The views from this KOA are stunning! This quiet country KOA, founded in 1964, is an oasis for nature-lovers. Visit Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, considered one of the best birding areas in the world, or stop by Antelope Island State Park and see the buffalo. Explore one of the breathtaking canyons in the area and take advantage of great hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, and golfing. Shoshone and Mantua ATV trail systems are nearby. Golden Spike National Historic Site is also very close. Visit historic downtown Ogden (15 minutes away) or Salt Lake City (45 minutes away) while you are here. This is an amazing area with lots to see and do - or you can just sit back and relax in the refreshing pool and enjoy the view. Pool: OPEN in Summer. Max pull thru: 120 feet. Your hosts: James & Kristan

Pros:
- scenic rural setting
- about 60 HD channels over the air
- lots of trees and green grass
Cons:
- clearance can be an issue in some spots - watch out for branches!
- although advertised as pull-through sites most of them are only pull-through if your neighbor hasn't checked in yet and they still want you to unhook any tow vehicles due to the placement of the utilities
- some traffic noise

We stayed there in late March, the new owners were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The grounds and facilities were neat and clean. I would absolutely stay there again.

I wake up early. The grounds crew wakes up and starts even earlier. They were setting up sprinkler systems and banging around at about 6am. But the people running the camp were friendly and accommodating. They even helped me with backing in to my spot. So I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

The Perry South KOA was our first stop on our trip from Denver to Washington State. The park was convenient to the freeway, but far enough away that we didn't hear a lot of traffic.
We were greeted with warm smiles and fresh fruit (that they grow on the adjacent lot!) and directed to our back-in spot. The spaces were narrow but met our needs. This is a FAMILY park. Expect lots of kids during the day, but the place was quiet during and after dinner.
We loved the views to the lake and the hillside to the east and took several long walks to look at the various agricultural field surrounding the park.
Only complaint is that a camper pulled in next to us at about 9PM. They were confused as to the layout of the sites, and chose to use our picnic table as theirs. Not a big deal as we needed to get going early, but it was awkward picking up camp with them eating breakfast on "our" table. They didn't even share! ;o)

I would recommend this place to anyone that is planning to stay near Brigham City. They were so nice and accommodating with us. We needed to book something last min and they were able to fit us in and help us out.
The Pool was closed to COVID so no-commit
Celluar Service in the whole area is GREAT! with Verizon no issues at all. I have been running 30-50m download speed while here.
Also, make sure you check out the nearby Hotsprings while you are here.

Very nice campground. Wanted to get out of the city for a night and this was perfect. Host was very nice and courteous. Recommended places nearby to order dinner. We paid extra for the deluxe site which was very nice with chairs and a fire pit and a table. They even offered to have wood delivered to our site for $6. This place has the best free WiFi hands done of any campground or hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We were able to watch Halloween movies and football just fine on their WiFi. The pool looks great but it’s too late in the season to use. Will definitely come back here for a quick getaway.

They are currently doing upgrades to the campground but it does not interfere with any of the sites your camping in. WiFi is actually pretty fast which is not often for campgrounds. The office staff is very on top of things and extremely helpful. The sites are gravel but level for the most part. We had a pull through and the sites near us were also pull throughs. Close to stores and the view was pretty nice as well! We have a 36’ rv and had no problems. Full hookups too. We have a cell phone booster but we had 4 bars with Verizon.
