“Eat meat on a stick.”
Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament is a family dinner theater featuring staged medieval-style games, sword-fighting, and jousting performed by a cast of 75 actors and 20 horses. Each location is housed in a replica 11th-century castle.
We had a blast at Medieval Times! We went in January and they were having a canned food drive. We got half price tickets by bringing in a non-perishable food item for each ticket. Pay the couple of extra dollars to view the "torture" devices before you go in. The show was great, the food was decent and the "knights" are all very gracious to their fans. We purchased a sword and a shield for each of our kids (reasonably priced for a touristy place) and the knights each posed for pictures with our kids and signed their "weapons." Buy a flag to cheer for your knight, it really does just add to the fun. It is loud so if your kids have any sensory issues, I would recommend bringing noise cancelling headphones for them. My kids loved this place and have asked when we can go again!
