OUR WHITEWATER TRIPS are run on the Arkansas River from May 1st through September 15th, beginning north of Buena Vista and continuing south through the wilderness of Brown’s Canyon. For the experienced rafters we also offer the more challenging Royal Gorge and Numbers sections of the Arkansas.Buffalo Joe’s Whitewater Rafting, located in historic downtown Buena Vista, is dedicated to giving you the most enjoyable river experience possible. For those who like to participate, paddle boats are available, and for families with children or those who prefer to hang on and enjoy the scenery, we recommend an oar boat.
We had an awesome 1/2 day trip down Browns Canyon. Reggie, our guide was super skillful. The ride was epically exciting but Reggie kept us safe and entertained. 5 stars - Thanks Reggie!
