Outer Harbor Kayak's owner, Kathleen Murray, has a fleet of a dozen single and tandem kayaks available for rent at '''Buffalo Harbor State Park''': you launch from the north end of '''Gallagher Beach''' for a fun day paddling the waters of Lake Erie. They offer single and tandem kayaks on an hourly or half-day (''i.e.'' four hours) basis — that's plenty of time to cover most of the Outer Harbor, but probably not enough to get to, say, '''Canalside''' and back. Reservations are accepted — and highly recommended, especially on weekends!
