“7 barrel beer brewing”
Built in a renovated 19th Century barn with a sweeping view of Seneca Lake, Two Goats Brewing is an unpretentious gathering place on the Finger Lakes Wine Trail for people who just want to drink great beer and enjoy time with their friends. Or make some new ones! Two Goats beer is made in a 7 barrel brew system originally built by Glenn Shepard and Kingdom Brewers of Vermont. Vance Metal in Geneva, NY masterly fabricated the fermentors and serving tanks.
They don't do flights, just as a heads up. Their beer is great, though! They brew it in the basement. Get the Headbutt if they have it. And if you want food, they serve one thing: a roast beef sandwich. Not really something I'd order normally, but it's good enough.
Two goats is one of my favorite places on earth. We were there 3 days in a row and felt right at home. The owners couldn't be nicer. The beer is great. The view is priceless. And the hoodies are sooooooooooft 😻 there was live music playing one night and it made the vibe even more incredible. Definitely worth checking out
The view is spectacular, the beer is awesome, and the view is spectacular. Does the view make the beer taste better? Maybe. But even if you take away the view, beer still tastes good.
Make sure you bring a dollar bill. When you walk in, look up, and you'll see why. It's a fun trick to see the bill get pinned up there.
