Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on August 20, 2021I stayed here because I was working nearby. The managers were very friendly and nice but the place itself is not worth the price. The spots are very close together and only some have picnic tables or trees. The bath house was clean but rundown. There was highway noise all night bI will try the free city park camping in Wichita Falls next time I need to stay.

We only spent one night here while traveling through, but were pleasantly surprised by this campground.
PROS:
+ Close to I-44, making it very easy to get to, but still but far enough away that there wasn't any highway noise.
+ The bathrooms were beautifully updated and clean.
+ The campground wasn't even half full, so the staff made sure to assign RVs to every other campsite to give everyone a little extra room.
+ All the pull-through sites were a level rock base
+ Excellent Verizon signal
+ Good looking pool (we didn't actually use it due to COVID-19)
+ Most sites had tall trees to provide some shade, but they weren't placed too close so as to interfere with any RV slides
+ Nice dog run/play area
+ Friendly staff
CONS:
- Sites are fairly narrow, so the campground could feel crowded if the campground was completely full
- It's the Wichita Falls, so there's not a whole lot tourist sights or reasons to visit the area

Friendly and accommodating staff. Camping spot was level and easily accessible. Wireless internet could have been faster. Campground was peaceful. Very glad to find such a nice place that’s open all year long.

It was a nice site with good full hookups, but there was noise from the interstate. Unable to produce any hot water from the shower....ran it for quite a bit but got none. Couldn't get in to the men's bathroom in the evening. Had to enter a door lock code, but the numbers were wore off the keypad!! Wifi was no good or nonexistent.

They will not advise you that your deposit is non refundable and they they will refuse to give it back to you should you need to cancel. Very Bad KOA and Ive stayed at numerous KOAs out there.
• Gravel pad, fairly level
• Very close spots, neighbors are too close
• Pull thru’s alternate directions so your living space and your neighbors face each other
• On the one side, with slides out you have maybe 1 foot between rigs
• On the other side, your picnic table and the neighbors are side by side
• TV is okay, not great
• Internet is weak and unsecured, several drop outs during the day
• It rained while we stayed, a series of very large puddles throughout the campground
• HORRIBLE showers, no hot water, need a serious cleaning
• This was a depressing KOA
We just stopped for one night for our road trip, this was a nice spot, the front desk was super kind and it was really clean and easy to get to! Definitely recommend!
