“stay the way you want”
The spectacular Pacific Northwest scenery alone would make this KOA worth a visit, but wait until you see what there is to do! Take a scenic drive along Samish Bay, hop a ferry to the San Juan Islands or Victoria, B.C., or join a whale-watching expedition. Go shopping at the outlet stores - not far away. Use this campground as your home base to visit area attractions. Groups appreciate the Rec Hall as a gathering place. Enjoy the cool waters of Friday Creek, which winds through the campground, or relax in KOA's indoor pool and hot tub. Have fun with gem mining activities right at the campground. This KOA has long, wide pull-through and back-in sites to accommodate RVs from 30 feet to 45 feet long. You will find plenty of room for your big rig in these large RV sites. This KOA is a security-gated property. Reservations must be made in advance to receive the gate code for an after-hours arrival. Pool Open: Easter weekend - Labor Day weekend. Max pull thru: 75 feet.

Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on August 02, 2022The wife and I stayed here for the shakedown cruise in our new motorhome. For our first night, we chose one of the premium sites, which include a fire ring, swing, two chairs, and a couple of benches, most of which are on the concrete patio next to the gravel parking space.
There are plenty of amenities, but some were closed due to COVID-19. WiFi reception is strong, with the wife and I both using it for casual browsing as well as YouTube streaming.
TV reception is a lacking, as you are pretty far from Seattle to pick up stations, but the park does provide cable TV in the premium sites. We didn't try out the cable, though. Next time.
Cell reception on Verizon is four bars.
The only downer, and it's not really a downer really, is the tiny little bridge you have to go across to access the bigger sites in the back of the property. It's a little tight, especially if you're driving a 40 foot diesel pusher. Other than that, the park is peaceful, and there is plenty of decent birdwatching. There is a slight hum from I-5 when you are outside, but inside the coach, there is no noise at all.

This is very nice KOA. Beautiful park with lots of trees and grass. Nice amenities. Restrooms are clean. Best part for me is the Wifi... 70mbs download at my site, 40mbs at other sites. Wifi is also included in the price. This is good because Verizon is only 2 bars of 4G here (no 5G) and speedtest barely even loads.

Nice trees between spots - felt more green than many private parks we’ve stayed at before.
Very close to burlington with good access to gas, groceries, and rv services.
If you value privacy and space between neighbors, I’d recommend the partial hook up spots. For most of the week we had no one on either side of us. The back in partial spots look even better with a field out your back window. (There is a dump onsite.)
Internet was a huge plus here. Great speed - was able to do video calls and streaming. Especially mid week - on Friday when the park filled up we had a few issues and it dropped for a few seconds a few times. But very pleased with the internet overall.

We stayed 1 night in our 30’ airstream as we were just passing through. Mostly I wanted to correct price that Katie wrote from August. We stayed October 24th and the site charge was $63.99 plus tax. This is a KOA Holiday so it looked like there was a lot to do.
Our site was level and a pull-through. We are able to stay hooked up to our truck. The campground looked very well kept and the staff was very welcoming to us even though we got in late.

Nice sites that have well-maintained grass.
Gravel pads that are level.
Gated with codes.
Comfortable place for either a long or short stay.
The campground Wi-Fi is better than most we have experienced.

One of my favorite KOAs. A good location to explore the northern area of the PNW -- LaConner, Deception Pass, Whitbey Island, Ft. Casey etc.
Extremely clean and neat sites and all the KOA amenities. Really nice KOA cabins in a nice, woodsy setting.
WIFI is acceptable as is Verizon service.
The only negative in my opinion is that visitors are not allowed after 9:00 - there is a gate with a code number to use. Was not a problem for me but still, being a f/t rv'er, I'd like to know I can have friends/family visit whenever
