“Featuring a Large Ball of String”

Local history museum with a large ball of string, among other exhibits. Experience the history of the Harney County region of southeastern Oregon. Local pioneer rancher and cattle baron Pete French display. Edward Hines Lumber Company display. Pioneer period room displays, wagons, guns, period clothing, archaeological exhibits, diorama of local bird species and wildlife collections.  Admission: Single $4, Couples $5, Family of four $6, with additional kids $.50 each, Seniors $3, Life Members free.

We stopped by ttoday to see this museum only to find they are closed for winter. The sign on the door didn't say when they would reopen. We were hoping too see the giant ball of string they have... Read more
