“Arizona's best wildlife theme park”
See hundreds of animals from all over the world. A wildlife park founded in 1988 by Dean and Prayeri Harrison. We offer shows during the day and an African Bush Safari as part of your general admission.
I wish zoos and conservatories would take note. The grounds and the enclosures were great you could actually see the animals, but they had freedom to roam and enjoy life. The owners were fantastic they love there work and the animals and you can see that throughout the park!
Grandkids (ages 6 & 2) loved this place and the adults also enjoyed. Discount tickets when stay at local hotel. If miss feeding giraffes on tram tour, save carrot & feed when you walk around. Much better as not surrounded by tons of people and a bus.
We made a stop at Out of Africa on our way home from my birthday trip to
Sedona. I can't say enough nice things about this place. The employees couldn't be nicer. And they would not hesitate to stop and share their huge amounts of knowledge with you. They also offer you lots of opportunities to have up close encounters with some of the animals. You get a lot for your money there! We fed a tiger, held snakes, fed the prairie dogs, and got a kiss from a giraffe. I would definitely recommend that you add this spot to your next road trip! Don't forget to get your AAA discount.
It is all desert atmosphere but we enjoyed the shows they had on the bears and tigers. I enjoyed kissing the camel and petting the giraffes.
