The Trinity building was built in 1892 as the First National Bank, where it once housed the first newspaper and then it became the historic headquarters of the Carlsbad Irrigation District. In 2007 three partners bought the building with the dream of restoring the decaying property. Many in the community said it couldn't be done, but today the old bank building is fully renovated and now the home to Carlsbad's finest dining establishment and nine luxurious hotel suites. Come, stay and lose yourself in the history and the beauty that is the Trinity.

I loved this place. We got there a little before they started seating and they immediately invited us to a free wine tasting which we did. Bartender recommended very good wines for each, and I will look for one that I loved. Met a fun couple doing the same and ended up eating dinner with them. All dinners were very good, service was great, very pretty place. Definitely will go back.

A wonderful, historic hotel - the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room (101) was beautiful. Modern but still LOTS of historic charm! We ate at the hotel restaurant, as well. The food was fantastic! Make a reservation because this place fills up fast! Would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant on your next visit to Carlsbad!
