“Explore Carthage through its history”

This local history museum features rotating exhibits and special programs with emphasis on veterans and holidays during mid-Nov to mid-Dec. A small reference library is available during regular hours. Tourist info, gift shop and Jasper County/Tri-State Route 66 guides are available. See website for details, special events and monthly Sunday openings beyond basic schedule. Geocache and letterbox on-site. 2014 season begins in late March.

Hours posted are good through Sept. 27, 2014 then consult website for fall season starting Oct. 3. Featured in October - Maple Leaf Festival Quilt Show through Nov. 1.
