I was lucky during my childhood years to spend almost all of my summers at my grandma's lake house in Poland. I remember some really great natural landscapes close to the lake that was just about 200 meters from the house. Nice cliffs loaded with bright colored flowers and a feeling of total relaxation and purity!!

Why am i telling you all these ? Well, as we were driving with my family towards the Redwoods Park on the Highway, my kids as they were surfing the net during the trip, suggested to make a stop at a place called Jughandle Creek Farm close to the Jug Handle State Reserve. I was driving for about 400 miles and i was kind of tired, therefore we decided to give it a go and stay there for the night. We were warmly welcomed by the owners of the farm Gallen and Sheri if i remember well, since this was last August.

What i remember well was a beautiful Victorian farm, with some amazing spots that traveled my senses back to my childhood years that i've mentioned you earlier. We paid for the Eucalyptus Cabin (which it didn't have a bathroom, which it wasn't a problem for us, since we could use the one of a farmhouse close to us) but it was very cozy and welcoming. I remember some apple trees in the backyard when we woke up which are such a great addition to the farm premises. I suggest you when you wake up to drive to the coastline that is close to the farm for a walk at the beach, as we did. And then we continued our journey towards the Redwood Park, North Coast California.
