Centre County Grange Park

Except for football game weekends and the Grange Fair, there are 1,500 sites with water and electric to choose from. We stay here while visiting family and love that it is only about 7 miles from State College. During football season they have Tailgating here and from what I understand, they run a shuttle bus from the fairgrounds to the stadium. If you just want a simple campsite near State College this is it. They don’t have a store on property so you have to bring everything with you. Stayed one night on our way from Virginia to I-80. Camp Host Deb was super helpful and checked us in late and guided us to a paved 50amp site. Hardly anyone else there and the scenery was exceptional! Electric and water yet no sewage hookups.

We stored our class A between home football games at the Grande. We were able to be plugged in, allowing me to leave the refrigerator full. Great mechanic on site - that help us out many times. He was able to winterize, change the generator oil and all small maintenance.
