Love that this place really shakes up the whole "Southern lowcountry" cuisine schtick most restaurants in Charleston do (and do well, admittedly). Think, duck and waffles instead of chicken and waffles and smoked gouda dip instead of pimento cheese. The guys behind it are from NYC and it really shows. If you want something a little different this place brings it!
Service was quite good, the atmosphere is casual but sophisticated, and the food is GREAT. We had small plates - shrimp with sweet potato pancakes and ahi poke. The portions were good. Prices are moderate.
