Salt, located in the historic Simeon store on Thomas Jefferson Parkway between Monticello and Ash Lawn-Highland, specializes in sandwiches and cheese and charcuterie with emphasis on local, seasonal, and artisan foods. Its location is a 1930s-era gas station and farm store later turned general store. Salt’s vision is a modern farm store, sourcing from Charlottesville-area and regional farmers and producers to serve food that is both classic and creative.
