Albany Restaurant Bar & Liquormart

Visit our place for great food, solid drinks and shop our big liquor store. The Albany is same family owned since 1942. We have operated from the same location for over 70 years. We are proud to be independents and able to live and work in beautiful Cheyenne. Our historic building is at the corner of 15th Street and Capitol Avenue in downtown. Our Building was constructed around 1900. It was once a 40 room hotel upstairs and a Hotel Lobby/Restaurant and Bar on the ground floor. The famous Union Pacific train station building and the popular depot plaza is directly across the street from our establishment. We are open year round Monday through Saturday, closed Sundays and major Holidays. The Albany has established a restaurant with a very loyal customer base. We employ a very experienced kitchen staff. We prepare all of our soups, sauces, gravies, salad dressings and lunch/dinner features from scratch. We cut all of our own steaks and chops. We roast all of our own meats. We buy and prepare only the freshest and finest ingredients available and use time tested and proven recipes developed by our family and staff. We are very proud of the quality of food we prepare and present. Great food, good portions, competitive prices, friendly service and real old style atmosphere you won't find anywhere else in Cheyenne. That's why we are the local's favorite! The Main Dining Room with the original Philippine mahogany 70 year old booths or the South Dining Room with flat screen televisions and a view of the historic train depot.
