Mott Street serves a menu inspired by the post-service cravings of a hungry Ruxbin team. Partners Chef Edward Kim, Jennifer Kim, Vicki Kim and Nate Chung are proud to share feel-good comforts, spanning poached chicken breast with salt & pepper to eggs in hangtown fry form. Mott St is family style dining and straightforward cuisine paired with a pointed beverage selection.
We deem Mott St.'s mash-up of Asian flavors--a heavy Korean bent with additional Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese and Chinese influences--to be among the most interesting in town. The Wicker Park restaurant is as full of personality and style as it is with flavor.
Before you fill up on crab brain fried rice and kimchi empanadas, taste Edward Kim's menu mainstay: piquant, porky steamed dumplings ($7). Scallion and ginger in the filling lend a spicy crunch.
