“Rustic Italian Market meets fine dining”
A partnership between Fabio Viviani and DineAmic’s Lucas Stoioff and David Rekhson, Siena Tavern is located at 51 W. Kinzie Street, (intersection of Kinzie & Dearborn) in the heart of Chicago’s River North neighborhood. Siena Tavern is the fourth hospitality concept from DineAmic Group, which currently owns and operates the wildly successful Public House and Bull & Bear properties. The décor reflects a hybrid of a rustic Italian market, a fine dining restaurant and a modern, industrial tavern, bridging old world comfort and hospitality with a contemporary menu and design. The 10,000 square foot space will has six distinct but cohesive areas: a main oval shaped bar, an elevated deck with a smaller bar, the main dining area, the crudo/pizza bar, another small dining deck and a private dining room with capacity for up to 15 people. The floor plan balances the vibe from each area, ensuring that guests feel welcome while stopping in for a post-work drink or sitting down for an intimate meal. The Main Oval bar exemplifies the comfortable-meets-industrial tavern aesthetic, with a honed granite top and an illuminated light cove façade, which shines through a laser-cut distressed iron frame. An inverted soffit is suspended over the bar, which supports a dramatic pendant light feature and bottle shelves. The bar in the East elevated deck, constructed out of salvaged airplane metal with polished rivets, provides a prime space for private parties of up to 50 people. The attached DJ booth overlooks the main bar area, and the deck’s wall of drawers, similar to that of the crudo bar, integrates the semi-private space with the rest of the restaurant. On the opposite side of the venue, the West elevated dining area features a warmly up-lit stone wall with an extended banquette feature that blends into the soffit above. Shadow box picture frames hung on this wall add depth, visual interest and a classic sensibility. A private dining room, featuring a large, rustic wooden chef’s table with comfortable, high-back seating, can host intimate dinner parties of up to 15 people. On the south of this room is a large, gilded framed 2-way mirror which hides a 50-inch plasma screen linked to Apple TV, ideal for slideshows and multimedia presentations.

If you want a delicious dinner, always trust Fabio. I've been going to his restaurants since 2012, and I have never had a bad dish. Here is no exception. We did the Forget About It, which is a 5... Read more
