“Preserving the Hopewell Culture”
This National Historical Park preserves the remains of the earthworks of the Hopewell culture that lived in this area 2000 years ago. Take a self guided tour of the mounds, view some of the finely crafted artifacts in the museum and view the video, "Legacy of the Mound Builders" which helps to explain this historic culture. And don't forget to stop by the visitor center gift shop!
