“Home of the Cincinnati Reds”

The Great American Ball Park is a Major League Baseball park in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is the home of the National League's Cincinnati Reds. It opened in 2003, replacing the Reds' former home, Cinergy Field, which was known as Riverfront Stadium from its opening in June 1970 until the 2002 season.

Located on the winding banks of the Ohio River in downtown Cincinnati, Great American Ball Park serves as the home of the Cincinnati Reds, baseball's first professional franchise. The ballpark officially opened for the 2003 season, making 2012 its 10th big-league season.

Visit the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum, and experience Cincinnati baseball year-round with changing exhibits, player appearances, interactive exhibits and much more.

Even if you're not a baseball fan, you've got to check the ball park out at least once. There are plenty of people who barely pay attention to the game and use it as more of a social get together.
If you're planning on going to a day game, you might want to opt for seats on the first base side as it will usually be in the shade. Also, there's a $1 stand on the upper deck all down the first baseline. You can get $1 peanuts, hotdogs, and soda.

Great American Ballpark is a must to check out if you're either new to the city or just have some time to explore what Cincinnati is all about. Depending on how well the Reds are doing, ticket prices range from ridiculously cheap to pretty darn cheap. The upper deck affords an awesome view of the river and Kentucky, as well as access to the dollar hot dogs and soda stand along the first base line.

There's not really a bad seat anywhere. Great (and relatively cheap) seats can be had in the uppers. Or you can head to the bleachers.

I have had the opportunity to use the Diamond seats behind home plate. That is an experience in and of itself. If you have the opportunity, take it.

Now if we can just get a good playoff team going in this town again.

Home of the Reds, GABP offers a pretty sweet MLB experience at a fair price... there's a bit too much concrete and not enough brick work inside the park for my tastes... and the center field steamboat deck is atrocious... but the beer selection is great and the views are pretty solid :)

I recently moved to Cincinnati and have since been attending Reds game pretty frequently. There's nothing quite like a day at the ballpark. Hotdogs, beer, and a win makes for a great time.

I am not much of a baseball fan, but Great American Ballpark is a great place to take in a game. There is a wide variety of food and drink available, and plenty of seating options for the price-point of your choice.

If you are feeling particularly indulgent, there is the occasional "all you can eat" package. If you feel the need to gorge on hot dogs, try it out. I am told it does not disappoint.

Whether you're willing to splurge on one of the many, many craft beer options and maybe a helmet of nachos (for a cost!) or you're just doing the $5 ticket and $1 hot dog thing, you're guaranteed to have a good time!

As the first major league baseball team, the Cincinnati Reds have a rich heritage and lasting traditions. Since I've been going to games my whole life, I've seen the stadium evolve with the times. My two favorite parts of the stadium is the new 80+ foot bar serving the best local and microbrews around. They are comparable to a normal ballpark beer so worth enjoying. Also, they serve all the Cincy favorites - Skyline Chili, Montgomery Inn, UDF, and even sushi. There's something for everyone and some seats even come with food included!

My favorite part is the $1 hot dogs and soda located near the right field side. Can't beat that! Just get there early to avoid the lines.

Love GAB. Can't really think of a better place to spend a beautiful summer day in Cinci! If you have not been before, you're missing out.
