“Everybody is somebody here”
Come on in and hang out at a Live Music Joint where there’s no bitchin’ or whinin’ — just a laid-back atmosphere where you can kick back and have a good time. Bring us your stuff—we’ll hang it up! And remember… Relax! You’re at the Roof! Where everybody is somebody!
Live music on the weekends is a GREAT time, as the drinks are cheap and the music is upbeat and lively. There is a cover charge, however, typically $5 so be prepared.
My favorite bar at the Banks. Haven't eaten there, but if you love live music (country on weekends), this is your spot. Although Toby Keith's is around the corner, the atmosphere, drink prices, and group of people is far more fun and comfortable. If going before/after a Reds game, plan accordingly as the lines can be long and often a $5 cover (worth every penny).
I've only been to the Tin Roof in Cincinnati. On a Saturday night, they had a drink special that they ran out of by midnight, and there was a $5 cover charge. Despite all that, still had much more fun here listening to live music than hanging out at the Holy Grail. Neither place is exactly my ideal Saturday night bar, but anywhere is a good time with the right people.
Maybe it's just because this isn't my scene, but the live music was super awful, like, covers of Nickleback songs awful, and they made me the worst gin and tonic of my life. And I paid a cover charge to experience all this.
