Al-Amir Cafe

Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine is what you'll find at Al Amir, located in a pleasant yellow building on Eighth Street. The inside is like a diner, with checkerboard floors and an open kitchen. Start off with an appetizer, such as hummus, baba ghanoush, Greek fries, or a salad like tabouli and fattoush. Kabobs rule most of the menu, but they also have gyros, burgers, falafels and sharwarma.
