Spent many a college night at this place and it holds a special place in my heart. It's got more than just Cincinnati style chili but I do recommend getting the Chili Cheese Fries. Double Deckers are my second choice. Also any place that's up 24 hours a day is almost automatically a 5.
Camp Washington Chili is the crown jewel of Cincinnati chili parlors. It's open 24-hours a day except Sunday (it's nice to see a business closed on Sunday, actually), so get your chili fix almost anytime.
They even accept credit cards now. Used to be cash only.
Service is always pretty super, and the atmosphere is squarely in the "charming diner" category. Bring your kids. Bring your grandma. Bring your business partner. Everyone fits in here.
To be honest, this place is overrated. Great history, but not our favorite. Read why: http://www.diveswithoutwives.com/2013/03/27/camp-washington-chili/
Let's face it, Cincinnati Chili is pretty rough stuff. But, if I'm drunk or whatever and and just have to go somewhere, it may as well be here. It's got history and a bit more to it than Skyline.
