“first full service tea room in Cincy”
After a year at the 5th Street location we graduated to a grand size space on 4th Street and opened the first full service tea room in Greater Cincinnati. We operated from this location for six years. Our building was closing which created an opportunity to move to our current location in Historic Findlay Market. This became a very exciting time. The market is the oldest continuing market place in Ohio and maybe the country. There would not be enough space to operate a full service tea room so we decided to forgo the tea room and focus on expanding the tea line, tea accessories and create an eduction program about tea.
