“Ice cream, chocolates & pastries. Yum!”
Since its founding in 1870 by Louis C. Graeter, Graeter's French Pot Ice Cream, handmade chocolate confections and fresh baked goods have become traditions in the Queen City. Today the Graeter family still faithfully uses his century old recipes and methods of production.
This is my local ice cream shop and I loves it! A big favorite on a really hot day is the Strawberry Frozen Lemondade - make sure they put plenty of real strawberry (nice & chunky) syrup in and loads cream on top. Maximum refreshment & yum factor..!
I have never met a waffle cone I didn't like, but I especially like the waffle cone's at Graters. The chocolate-mint ice cream has chunks of chocolate that you could probably qualify chocolate bar size. It's a great location as well! If you don't want to hang out at the store, you can always hit up Burnett Woods and make everyone else jealous of your glorious ice cream deliciousness!
You have to try the salted caramel ice cream! It's truly amazing. For added deliciousness, get it in a waffle cone. Trust me, this combo is the best.
Though there is just about a Graeter's in every neighborhood this one is the closest to me and it's easily one of the best. Located in the center of the very walkable Gaslight District which has lots of other cool shops near by.
Great ice cream but I'm still partial to Aglamesis Brothers
The chocolate chips were made from the hands of angels, cocoa beans grown from the clouds, and dipped and served by saints to fill our less-than-worthy mouths with what the gods would surely call.. immaculate. This is Graeter's. This is Cincinnati ice cream.
