“good food, good friends, good times”
Mio’s opened in the fall of 1975 with the goal of providing a quality product with fast, friendly service. Mio’s foundation begins with original proprietary recipes for our pizza sauce, marinara sauce, and meat sauce, as well as our fresh pizza-dough, hoagie buns, and bread sticks. We offer several programs for the little ones starting with a kid’s menu that’s sure to please every parent. The most popular item is our make and bake pizza program, where on certain nights your child can make his or her own one topping pizza, then our staff will bake it and serve it. You will be pleased to see the smiling faces when your child’s pizza is delivered to the table. Another favorite is the butcher paper for the kids to play games and draw on while waiting for your meal to arrive. And at selected locations, the drawings can be turned in to our staff, with prizes awarded for most creative, most artistic, and most humorous.
Got this pizza delivered last night. It was pretty good. A bit on the stodgy side. The cheese was very thick, so if you're into cheesy pizzas you'll like it. Wayyy better than La Rosa's, but not as good as other local pizza joints, like Strong's in Newport or Dewey's in Clifton.
