Picnic and Pantry (closed)

In late May 2010, Melt Eclectic Deli in Northside opened Picnic and Pantry in the former Hideaway Restaurant space, next to The Northside Tavern. Picnic and Pantry is a small neighborhood market which focuses on essential groceries, fresh produce, and prepared foods. Think of it as an art supply store for your culinary needs, as well as a quick healthy meal option! We carry high quality staples like milk, eggs, meats, produce, and breads, but also have the ingredients you need to bake a cake, or build an impressive array of party platters.

Meal options include ready to-go sandwiches and salads. Using our store's quality ingredients, we stock the shelves and grab-and-go cooler with vibrant meals (or meal "starters") that you can take home, or eat on the patio!  

Picnic and Pantry brings a fresh and local spin to your lunch or party. Specializing in the homegrown menu mentality, Picnic and Pantry strongly supports the use of sustainable products and offers biodegradable dishes, cutlery and practices a drop off/pick up of fine platters that will enhance any meal.
