“The Only sports bar in Over-the-Rhine”
Rhinehaus is a neighborhood/dive bar located on 12th St. between Main and Walnut, two blocks from the Gateway Quarter and a half block from the bars on Main Street. We’re the only sports bar in Over-the-Rhine, offering 12+ TVs, which will carry NFL Sunday Ticket, ESPN Game Plan, ESPN Full Court, MLB Extra Innings, Fox Soccer Channel, and Fox Soccer Plus. Rhinehaus will offer a wide variety of craft beers. We have 16 taps that will rotate occasionally and we’ll maintain a strong variety of bottled beers!
While it's known to be a bit cramped on the big game days (Champions League, Etc.) it's still a great place to watch soccer downtown. They run specials on specialty cocktails frequently and open early for those morning matches.
This is a great bar to grab a drink after work, though it can get loud. The bartenders are friendly and fast, and usually the other patrons are curious. Make sure to experiment with their other drinks too, the beer is great but they make a mean gin and tonic too!
I wasn't really into this place much at first, as it's kind of a "bro-bar", you know the kind, where the TVs are always playing a game and lots of guys in jerseys show up to get hammered and scream at each other.
Fortunately, the bartenders are quick, helpful, and the booze is cheap, so this place gets an touchdown in my book. Or a hole in one, or a sportsgoal, or whatever.
Rhinehaus is a solid bar -- nothing special (unless you're into soccer, in which case it's the place to be), but a good place to grab drinks. The happy hour deal ($4 drafts) is great and lasts for awhile, and the service is as good as anywhere else in Cincinnati.
It's the "sports bar" of OTR, the bartenders are some of the best in the city, and the drinks are cheap (and sports will be on tv). A little crowded but sometimes that's not a bad thing.
Best place to watch a soccer game in Cincinnati. They have all kinds of crazy shots. One is the Mexican Rhino which is tequila, cholula, and lime juice. A good pre-gaming spot.
Great spot. Simple and unaffected.
A nice post work spot to grab a drink and even better spot to watch a soccer match. It can get very crowded on the weekends so I typically avoid it around that time. But the drinks are decently cheap and the bartenders have always been super friendly.
