“A small sitting park”
A small sitting park in the center of an urban square (which itself features eclectic shops and eateries), the centerpiece of Hyde Park Square is Kilgour Fountain, originally installed in 1900 as a gift to the city. The fountain was completely restored in 2003. One of Cincinnati's oldest, and hippest shopping meccas, Hyde Park Square has over 175 one-of-a-kind shops, restaurants and events, and continually reinvents itself to provide patrons with the best, the newest, the most exciting selection in town.
Really interesting area to check out, especially in the summertime. The Farmers Market they have here is great, and there's plenty within walking distance.
Hyde Park square is a lovely place to sit and relax. Take care entering and exiting, however. The hedge is high and drivers don't always pay attention. It is surrounded by some fun restaurants and shops.
Its a fun place to eat ice cream with the kids in the summer. Ice cream sold separately.
Nice little (emphasis on little) park in the middle of Hyde Park that really doesn't get utilized unless there is some festival or farmers' market going on. The fountain is really cool, as well, a pretty peaceful spot.
Nice little square in the middle of Hyde Park and surrounded by restaurants and little coffee shops, an ice cream shop and a few bars. Nice place to take a stroll if you live in the area.
