“Arizona's longest-running nature show”
Located just 25 miles from Sedona this soft-adventure attraction is the perfect addition to your Sedona vacation. Asphalt, concrete and tension drift away as you slip into an unspoiled world where serenity and stimulation miraculously coincide. Running from Clarkdale to Perkinsville, the Verde Canyon Railroad is a stress-free four-hour wilderness adventure…at 12 mph.
Buyer beware: they only run one coach train & other nine are “first class”. That’s the difference between $65 and $89 buckaroos. They do offer a AAA discount tho, but couldn’t tell you what that was because I didn’t get a printout. Ride was pleasant enough; they offered appetizers and free water, as well as first half cup of apple cider or champagne upon arrival. It was overall ok; nothing to write home about tho
4 hour ride must see beautiful.

Beautiful views and it was nice we could sit inside and have the option to stand in the outside trains as well. Lots of kids and for those who don't have them it was hard to handle having them on the train with us but we still enjoyed it.
