Hico, Texas, home of Billy the Kid Museum. Located on the cusp of the Texas Hill country, a quick drive from Dallas, Fort Worth, and Austin. The Billy the Kid Museum is privately owned. Our store offers a large variety of gift and memorabilia related to historical Hico adn Billy the Kid. We are the Hico Visitors Center.
The museum is awesome but is NOT in Clovis. It's an hour away in Fort Sumner. Just FYI.
We thought this place was really neat. Be sure to stop off at his grave which is not too far from the museum. Really interesting experience and the staff is really friendly and informative. Might even give you a dad joke or two!
