Meadowcliff is now the Walker/Coleville KOA. It is right on Hwy 395 so there is road noise. The entire facility--restrooms, showers, sites, and store are super-clean and well-kept. We were able to relax and enjoy a beautiful evening after a long day driving. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We'd like to go back and stay longer to explore the area.
Great place for our one night stay friendly professional service could not have asked for more. Did not use the pool or other amenities but they looked very nice. Right off Hwy 395 but we heard no traffic noise. Will add to my list of places to use again. No cellular service but Great WiFi.
We scheduled this as a one night stop over on our first day of a long trip into Utah. We happily stayed two nights due to ferocious winds that closed Hwy 395 to RVs. The campground is immaculate and the staff is friendly and helpful. We’ll come back to camp here on fishing trips or eastern Sierra vacations.
We start our summer RV season here as a test run. Super clean, easy and friendly. Great base to explore Bridgeport, and all along 108. Don’t miss Walker Burger! Nice pool, dog friendly.
Pool is beautiful & well maintained as are all the grounds.
We were guided to our spot, shown each hookup.
He told us what the water pressure is, 40#, & aligned so both front & rear sewer connections were in the right place. Sewer connections are made so effluent flows down into the hole.
The scenery is gorgeous with the cliff behind & viewable from our site.
We will return.
Highway 395 is below & buffet by trees.
We stayed two nights at this KOA in a Deluxe Patio site which included a gas grill (propane provided) a fire pit (firewood included for each night), a patio, a table, an umbrella, and chairs. Full hookups. The large dog run was wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are also "lodges" on site. A bit of noise from 395 but we knew to expect that during the day. At night and in the early morning we could hear the Walker River on the other side of the highway. We will return again.
Very well maintained, nice grounds
An awesome place to stay! Everyone's friendly and helpful. The facilities are super clean. The mountain view is pretty epic. Feels close to the highway, but we didn't hear any traffic at all. Highly recommended.
Driven by lots of times but never had the urge to stay. My husband and I now have a small travel trailer and are getting a little soft these days. We're staying in more Rv Parks on road trips. Just one here and there to dump tanks, fresh water fill, and take hot showers.
Seeing that pool we couldn't resist stopping in to see IF they had any vacancies. The man and woman at the check in desk acted like they were doing us a big favor by letting us stay without a reservation. Not the most welcoming. By the way there were plenty of open spots both nights. hee hee
It's one of the nicest KOA's I've ever seen, they keep a clean and tidy campground
/motel rooms...Beautiful landscaping, great amenities , good Wi-Fi, we also used the community BBQ. Shower suites were almost
( should I say luxurious! )...Did I say I loved that pool? Adirondack chairs, padded lawn furniture and shade verranda on the pool deck. I could go on and on. They even light up the Centennial Cliffs at nights!
We met incredibly friendly RVer's staying here. Enjoyed visiting with other travelers.
Just a heads-up, some sites are quite close to hwy 395 and could be a bit noisey from truck traffic. So get as far back as you're able.
Also just down the road is Walker Bbq and Pub. Loved that place!
There's a small cafe in the front of the KOA property (that was already closed for the season) that looked a little dumpy and needed some TLC. It's NOT affiliated with the KOA.
