Peterson Air & Space Museum

What is the Peterson Air & Space Museum Foundation? Our official name is The Colorado Springs Edward J. Peterson Air and Space Museum Foundation, Inc.  We’re a 501c(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to: •Fostering and perpetuating the Peterson Museum as a medium for informing and educating the public on the history and heritage of the early history of Colorado Springs and the missions associated with Peterson Air Force Base. •Serving as a philanthropic corporation in assisting the development and expansion of the facilities of the Peterson Museum. •Receiving, holding, and administering gifts in the best interest of the Peterson Museum. Due to security conditions, access to the Museum is restricted to (1) Visitors with military identification or visitors escorted by DOD cardholders. (2) Click here for non - military  ID card holders instructions for gaining base museum access. Please call to check on current base access procedures. Tour groups should contact the Museum Curator (719-556-4915) for base access arrangements. Admission to the museum and airpark is free.
