Glen Eyrie Castle & Conference Center

Cool castle, views and grounds are great, But do not stay the rooms that are located off the side road are musky smelling, old and look like they are original from the 70's. Not to mention the entire time you have marriage therapy groups roaming around... Awkward...

We stayed in the castle two nights and the employees are wonderful. Breakfast was good and the grounds are so well kept. Honestly I would have gave it 5 stars if the rooms had ac. Many rooms we walked by during the tour had ACs but ours did not. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay

The castle was cool too see but they only let you look at a very small portion of the 34000sq feet. 2 people asked in our tour group about any hidden rooms and that was denied, although we noticed some blended in/ secret looking doors on our tour. Lol no one asked but we saw them! 😆 a map of the ground to know what else we could look at would have been nice. They tell you you're free to stay and look at the grounds but don't give you a map so.... we did the tour and left.

A beautiful castle/hotel with gorgeous grounds with animals roaming freely. We saw turkeys, deer and bear! The castle rooms have been preserved with many antiques and original pieces. A couple greeted us and were there our entire 2 day stay to help with any needs we might have. The breakfast was hot and had many choices. Conveniently located near Garden of the Gods .
