Genoa Park is located in downtown Columbus on the west bank of the Scioto River and is part of the Scioto Mile park family. Named after the sister city in Italy, Genoa Park is also commonly referred to as the Riverfront Amphitheater. As the park’s main feature, the Riverfront Amphitheater attracts visitors for numerous events, concerts, and festivals. Genoa Park is known for hosting events including Rhythm on the River, Festival Latino, and WaterFire. The Riverfront Arts Festival and the Columbus Gospel Fest are some of the other many events that bring diverse culture, cuisine, and entertainment to Genoa Park. Besides being the home to some of Columbus’ most popular events, Genoa Park is located right next to COSI, the Center of Science and Industry, in downtown Columbus. COSI brings in both tourists and locals of all ages for a fun, educational experience. Genoa Park also provides a relaxing, scenic hang out for COSI visitors.
