“35 distinct personalities. 1 incredible place.”
We are butchers, bakers and candy makers. We are fishmongers, greengrocers and restaurateurs. We grow, catch, find, make, produce, distribute, cook, create and invent our wares. We are Columbus’ only public market and an incubator for small businesses. And we are the place to shop, eat, mingle and people-watch.The North Market is home to dozens of unique, independent merchants and farmers who deliver personal and personable service every day of the week.
Stopped here for the first time during a cross country road trip--SO worth the detour. Heard that Time Magazine called it the best in America. I agree 100%.
There is definitely a flavor for everyone. It is also full of fresh ingredients from meats to vegetables and fruits.
AHHHHHHHHmazing! What every town should have - talented vendors creating quality products. A must-visit for Columbus. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare on the weekends. But do NOT let that deter you. It's totally worth it!
When I decide I'm gonna leave my diet behind, I go immediately to the North Market! There is sooooo much to eat and see! Travel the world on your taste buds in one quaint little location. Be warned: it is ALWAYS busy. It has to be one of the most visited locations in Columbus!
Free samples, good produce and other food selection, a really nice spot in the heart of the city. If you live near here, this is a MUST for groceries/etc.
The market operates 7 days a week and is always busy, especially when they are holding festivals. We went here once for the Fiery Food Festival. Oh deeeaaar, the food choices was just overflowing; pizza, sausages, sushi, baked goods, craft beer, burgers, chocolates! The list just goes on and on! There was too much hustle and bustle, though. There were lots of people that made almost every seat taken so we just decided to devour on our food while standing up. But all-in-all, it was definitely a fun experience.
Love North Market, go back every chance we get. The farmers market in the summer is not to be missed! Great food and so many awesome shops!
The North Market is easily the place I miss most about living in Columbus. There are dozens of delicious independently owned local restaurants that are priced very reasonably. You can get a fantastic lunch for less than 10$.
There are tons of food vendors inside (selling fresh ingredients like meat bread and cheese) and people selling crafts and stuff outside. Fun place to come for lunch!
So many flavors so many choices for food and shopping. It has so much culture within the building its a must if you are in the area! I recommend the pretzels in the back corner!!! Mmmmm delicious!
