“Top-to-bottom Elvis museum”
Built in 1908 and listed on The National Register of Historic Places features Joni Mabe’s Panoramic Encyclopedia of Everything Elvis. See the legendary Elvis’ Wart & the "Maybe Elvis Toenail". Museum contains over 30,000 Elvis items -largest in the world and most unique. Listed in Guinness' World Book of Records. Museum has Elvis gift shop. Big E Festival held first Saturday in August. At the top of the staircase, Joni Mabe's glittery pink-and-silver Angel Elvis art beckons visitors to ascend-up to the Panoramic Encyclopedia of Everything Elvis, where five rooms are filled top-to-bottom with anything and everything Elvis. Joni toured for 14 years internationally with her Panoramic collection, taking it to places like Los Angeles, New York and London. Among the collection are record sleeves, posters and headlines from tabloids such as The National Enquirer, claiming "Elvis' Twin is Still Alive and Playing Blackjack in an LA Club," or one from The Sun, from Sept. 20, 1988, professing "Statue of Elvis Found on Mars: Satellite Beams Back 'All Shook Up'."
Very large, impressive collection of Elvis memorabilia. Joni is fun to talk to and has put her heart into her collection.
Built in 1908?
Amazing place. The strangest collection of Elvis stuff I've seen. The best ten bucks I've spent today.
