Spring Creek Restaurant

Spring Creek Restaurant is a true Old Florida establishment serving only the finest local seafood available. Since 1977, the Lovel family has taken great pride in every dinner they have prepared and served. From our own boats we provide mullet and softshell crabs, obtaining other seafood only from local fishermen, shrimpers and crabbers through the fresh seafood markets of Florida’s Big Bend. There’s no big secret to our success: simply a fresh, local product, quality ingredients, a friendly, dedicated staff, and the delicious recipes created by Carolyn Lovel (those are a secret). Spring Creek Restaurant, itself, is almost a museum of the North Florida region. Amid the large mural and Limestone fireplace are artifacts, old photographs and original artwork. One dining area is a gallery featuring the illustrations from Leo Lovel’s books, Spring Creek Chronicles. Your meal begins with warm rolls, garlic butter, and a family style bowl of fresh salad fixings. Our famous house dressing, a homemade buttermilk ranch, is in the corked bottle on your table. There is something for everyone: whether it’s our rich crab cakes broiled with a tangy white sauce, or bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with our deviled crab, shrimp & crab chowder, or a hand-cut ribeye steak. From the freshest, in-season seafood delicacy to just a handmade burger with hand-cut fries, we are here to please. Dinners are also served with your choice of a side and our famous, light, flavorful hushpuppies. Top it off with a slice of homemade pie for desert: key lime, coconut cream, or chocolate peanut butter.
