The Crab Plant Seafood Market in Crystal River has fresh Seafood for sale to the general public. You won’t find any fresher seafood than ours. The Crab Plant came into being January 1, 2014. We are located on Kings Bay at the head of the Crystal River, in Crystal River Florida. Since 1995 it has been in our family strictly used for wholesale of stone crabs and grouper. Our Seafood Market is owned and operated by Jimmy, Betty, Kelly and Candy Kofmehl. In 2014 we opened a retail market at the request of friends and others in the Crystal River and Homosassa area looking for fresh local seafood. We own and operate our own boats and bring in fresh catches daily. We grouper fish as well as Stone Crab. We also have a shrimp boat at our dock that we get our fresh local shrimp from every day. We carry stone crabs, grouper or shrimp and fresh local fish as well as other fish we have shipped in at the request of our clients Our goal is to bring the freshest local seafood from our boats to your table. Jimmy and Kelly have over 60 years combined in the wholesale, retail, and fish production in the seafood industry. If you like Very fresh fish try our Grouper, Snapper, Hog Fish, Mullet, Flounder, Sheepshead, Sea Bass, Calamari and Squid. If was any fresher you would of just caught it yourself. We love Crabs! Stone, Snow and Blue Crab are always a tasty treat. We always have a large variety of fresh Stone Crab, Snow Crab and Blue Crab to choose from. We have Mediums, Large, Jumbo, and Stone Crab Floaters as well as fresh Boat Run and Male Blue Crab.
