Kettle River Fishing Adventures

Kettle River Fishing Adventures is based at RiverCamp, centrally located on the “dirt road side” of the Kettle River halfway between Midway, B.C. & Curlew, WA. We have a 1-2 passenger pontoon-style fishing boat & single kayaks for river excursions. Traditionally, the river runs fast and high thru the end of June. July 4th weekend is when the Beach begins to appear and the river calms down. By the end of July, we can swim, snorkel and comfortably wade to nearby secret fishing holes. All of August & September is glorious! We fish & camp mid-May through mid-October. You’ll find rustic river camping at its best, complete with our own private sandy & river rock beach, deep swimming hole, camp kitchen (serving fantastic local foods!), firepit, outdoor movies & several fun options for special overnight experiences. PLEASE NOTE – rustic = outhouses & no warm showers. We provide spotlessly clean outhouses for our guests as well as cool water showering. If this isn’t your cup of tea, we can direct you to our favorite B&B just up the road (15 minutes) or work around an in-town stay (45 minutes away).
