“come experience our spectacular wines”
Born and raised west of Sydney, Australia in the beautiful Blue Mountains, he only found his passion for wine while living and working on a Whitsunday Island in the Great Barrier Reef after graduating High School. Chef Austin first discovered his gift for cooking at a young age, cooking and baking with his mother, grandmothers, and aunt. A native of southern Mississippi, he grew up within an hour of the gulf coast and New Orleans. Weekly visits to the French Quarter and fishing with his father was Austin’s first experience of the traditions of southern regional cuisine and the importance of locally sourced and endorsed ingredients.
When you want to experience a winery that rivals those in Europe, look no further than Montaluce Winery & Estates. With a 25,000-square-foot Tuscan villa, this North Georgia winery is a destination all its own.
Although the wine is the main draw here, Montaluce is also well-known for its special events. These range from wine hikes each weekend to private tastings to cooking classes and special dinners. When planning your visit, leave the kids at home and plan a date night with your partner or a night out with the girls.
We think Montaluce is one of the best wineries in North Georgia!
